SECURING YOUR MESSAGING SERVER

Synopsis

This course uses discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises to build skills and understanding in relation to Internet Security, and in particular configuring the Critical Path™ Mail Server to withstand attack from Spam, Virus and unauthorized access.

Skills Gained

At the end of this course students should be able perform the following tasks:

Create filters to minimize the effect of spam on a mail server
Use the utilities supplied with the Mail Server to protect it against unauthorized access
Have a basic understanding of anti-abuse measures accepted as best practice and how they are implemented in the Memova™ Anti Abuse solution
